DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) is 
 to help you to be a club president who has the necessary skills\, knowledg
 e\, and motivation to lead an effective club. In addition to PETS\, club p
 residents-elect receive additional training at the District Training Assem
 bly.  Presidents-elect are encouraged to review the resources on the Reso
 urces page where you will find the Club President’s Manual which shou
 ld be read before training so you will arrive at PETS prepared to discuss 
 their duties and goals for the coming year. PETS Idea Exchange Questions
  have been provided so that presidents-elect will be able to reflect on t
 heir responses before training (download this document from the Prepare f
 or PETS page). Attendance at PETS is now required by Rotary International
  for all presidents-elect in order to serve as president of your Rotary cl
 ub.  If you can not attend Mid-America PETS\, you can attend another PETS
  with your district governor-elect’s permission.  For a list of other m
