Farewell Article as District Governor of Rotary 5750

It has been an incredible honor to serve as the District Governor of Rotary 5750. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful Rotarians, from Gage to Pawhuska to Clinton and beyond. Our district is vibrant and exciting, filled with people making a significant difference in their communities.

One of the highlights of my tenure was getting a behind-the-scenes view of all the clubs and learning about the amazing work everyone is doing. It was a privilege to represent District 5750 at numerous trainings and events over the past few years, including visits to the Rotary International Headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, and the International Conference in Melbourne, Australia.

I cherished every moment of hearing about the various service projects and had the joy of participating in events like the Santa and Easter Bunny booth with the Rotary Club of NW Oklahoma City. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding, and my wish for Rotary in Oklahoma is for it to continue thriving and growing.

Rotarians are some of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve in this impressive capacity. I will always remember my time as District Governor and am excited for the upcoming leadership team. I will continue to support Rotary in any way that I am able.

Rotary's Mission and Vision Statements Mission: "We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our  fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders."

Vision: "Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves."

Thank you once again for this incredible journey.

Sincerely,

Jeanean
