Rotary Club of Perry held their second annual disc golf tournament this past weekend at the Perry Rotary Park.  There were 6 teams that registered to play in the 9 hole scramble with additional money coming from hole sponsorships and prize drawings.  The disc golf tournament along with monthly membership dues go to help fund college scholarships and community service projects.

The club has worked hard that past few months cleaning up the park getting it ready for the tournament repainting and trimming trees.  The local high school woodshop class donated time to help rebuild the park benches and the high school honor society volunteered on the clean up days.  The club is planning to add additional enhancements to the park in the future including new walking trail surfacing, lighting, and restrooms.
