Stillwater Frontier Rotary Club's Winterfest Trivia Challenge

In late January, the Stillwater Frontier Rotary Club hosted its annual Winterfest Trivia Challenge. The event featured 18 teams competing to answer trivia questions, a silent auction, and a burger bar. Several vendors provided wine and microbrewery beer throughout the evening.  The Trivia Challenge generated several thousand dollars to benefit the Club’s community service projects and high school scholarships.

March Speaker Opportunity - Humanitarian Work in Ukraine

Harriet Campbell, a member of Rotary Club Otumoetai, District 9930 & Jason Zan have been volunteering in Ukraine since 2022. Last year, they decided to create their own project to bring hot food to frontline villages. From August to November, they served 2,000 meals to villages, hospitals, and children's centers. Their base was an abandoned apartment in the city of Kharkiv, only 50 km from the Russian border. From there, they cooked huge quantities of soups, stews, and curries. Every night, Kharkiv was bombed. Each morning, as they would go to buy supplies, they would see more of the city had been turned to rubble.
