July marks the beginning of a new Rotary year—a time filled with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and opportunities to continue serving our communities. It is also a month of special significance across Rotary International as we recognize Maternal and Child Health Month, one of Rotary's seven Areas of Focus dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare for mothers and children around the world.
In addition, July is celebrated as New Leadership Month and Transition Month, as incoming club officers, presidents, assistant governors, and district leaders officially begin their terms. We extend our sincere appreciation to those who have completed their year of service while welcoming the dedicated leaders stepping forward to guide Rotary into another exciting year.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of women and children face preventable health challenges due to limited access to medical care, nutrition, clean water, and education. Through Rotary's global and local service efforts, we continue working toward healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures for the next generation.
Here in District 5750, we also recognize that strong leadership is essential to achieving lasting impact. Every club officer, committee chair, and volunteer plays an important role in advancing Rotary's mission of Service Above Self. Together, we will continue building vibrant clubs, meaningful partnerships, and projects that improve lives throughout our communities.
July: Maternal and Child Health Month ❤️
Healthy mothers and children are the foundation of thriving communities. Rotary clubs around the world support initiatives that improve prenatal care, expand access to healthcare, provide vaccinations, improve nutrition, strengthen sanitation, and reduce preventable disease.
Across District 5750, clubs may consider:
Supporting local organizations that serve mothers, infants, and young families
Organizing donation drives for diapers, baby supplies, and children's essentials
Partnering with hospitals, schools, and nonprofit organizations on health initiatives
Promoting family wellness, nutrition, and preventative healthcare education
Raising awareness of Rotary's global work in maternal and child health
Whether serving locally or supporting international projects, every act of service helps create healthier futures for children and families.

What an incredible day at the Rotary District 5750 Training Assembly!
Today was filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration as Rotarians from across the district came together to prepare for the year ahead.
From exchanging ideas and sharing best practices to building new friendships and strengthening existing ones, the Training Assembly reminded us that Rotary is at its best when we learn from one another and work together in service.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who organized, presented, and attended this outstanding event. Your time, passion, and commitment to Rotary make our clubs—and our communities—stronger.

Congratulations to the Rotary Club of the Original Mile on officially becoming Rotary District 5750's 34th club!
What better way to begin than with service? The club has already launched its first community project - a Back-to-School Drive supporting students throughout the Mid-Del School District by collecting donations for much-needed school supplies.
District 5750 is proud to welcome this new club and looks forward to seeing the positive impact they'll make in the years ahead. Congratulations to all of the charter members on this exciting milestone!
Members of the Stillwater Frontier Rotary Club recently enjoyed a preview of the upcoming 2026–2027 season at The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts at Oklahoma State University, presented by Executive Director Mark A. Blakeman.
Programs like these give Rotarians the opportunity to learn about the organizations and cultural experiences that enrich our communities. Thank you to Mark for sharing what's ahead and to the Stillwater Frontier Rotary Club for highlighting another engaging meeting.

Giving Back Through the Arts!
The OKC Midtown Rotary Club spent the weekend volunteering at deadCenter Film, helping support one of Oklahoma City's most celebrated arts festivals. Their commitment to service helped create a welcoming experience for filmmakers, guests, and the community while showcasing Rotary's dedication to giving back. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City Midtown for making a difference and helping another incredible deadCenter Film festival come to life!
Rotary District 5750 Was Proudly Represented in Taipei!
The Rotary Club of Oklahoma City (Club 29) proudly represented Rotary District 5750 at the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan. From the inspiring opening ceremony to connecting with Rotarians from around the world, the convention celebrated Rotary's global impact and the enduring partnerships that make our organization so strong.
Thank you to everyone who represented District 5750 with pride on the international stage and helped showcase the spirit of Service Above Self. We also extend our gratitude to all of the other District 5750 clubs that made the journey to Taipei. We look forward to seeing even more of our Rotary family at the 2027 Rotary International Convention in Barcelona!

RYLA 2026
The date for our next RYLA is set for July 17-20, 2026 at Camp Twin Cedars. We need your support to sponsor students and encourage students to apply. Our goal is to have 100 students for this LIFE CHANGING Camp.

After an incredible journey of service, friendship, and cultural exchange in Japan, the Wings of Rotary team has safely returned home. Their trip strengthened international connections, created lasting memories, and embodied Rotary's mission of building goodwill and understanding around the world.

District Governor Mukesh Patel officially installed the EOC Rotary Club's officers for the new Rotary year.
The Ponca City Trailblazers Rotary Club celebrated the start of a new Rotary year with its annual Installation Banquet following Rotary District 5750's District Assembly. The evening recognized new members, honored outstanding Rotarians with awards including Paul Harris Fellow recognition and Trailblazer of the Year, and celebrated members who completed District Leadership Training. Congratulations to the club's incoming leadership, award recipients, and newest members as they look ahead to another year of service and community impact.
