May is Youth Service Month, a time across Rotary International to recognize and celebrate the young leaders who are already making an impact in our communities. Here in District 5750, we see that impact every day through Interact and Rotaract clubs, RYLA participants, and Youth Exchange students who are stepping up to lead, serve, and grow.
These programs are more than participation. They are pathways to leadership. Young people are gaining confidence, building connections, and learning what it means to serve above self. Their energy and perspective continue to strengthen Rotary and the communities we serve.
Thank you to every Rotarian who mentors, supports, and invests in our youth programs. Your time and effort are helping shape the future of Rotary.
May: Youth Service Month 🌻
Young people continue to play an important role in shaping the future of our communities and our district. Through leadership opportunities, service projects, mentorship, and collaboration, Rotary clubs across District 5750 are helping encourage the next generation to grow in confidence, character, and purpose.
Across the district, clubs may consider:
• Supporting youth-led community service initiatives
• Encouraging participation in Interact, Rotaract, and RYLA
• Creating mentorship and leadership opportunities
• Building stronger connections between generations through service
By investing in young leaders today, we help create stronger communities for tomorrow. Small moments of encouragement and opportunity can leave a lasting impact for years to come.
There is much to look forward to:
• Expanded youth engagement across District 5750
• Growth in Interact, Rotaract, and leadership programs
• New service projects shaped by young leaders
• Stronger connections between generations
We’re on a great trajectory as a district, so let’s keep that momentum going. Let’s finish the year strong by investing in RYLA and continuing to grow our membership across District 5750. Every new member and every contribution makes a difference.
Thank you for your continued commitment to service and to one another. District 5750 continues to grow stronger because of you.
Wishing you all a meaningful and impactful May.
Best Regards,

District Training Assembly 2026 was a powerful reminder that the passion for Rotary leadership, service, and connection is stronger than ever across District 5750. Rotarians from throughout the district came together to learn, collaborate, and prepare for a new year of impact - sharing ideas, building friendships, and strengthening the foundation of our clubs and communities. From leadership development and membership growth to public image and service initiatives, the energy throughout the Assembly reflected a shared commitment to moving Rotary forward into a new era of purpose, unity, and People of Action.
With the new Rotary year just around the corner and the incredible momentum building across District 5750, now is the perfect time to invite friends, neighbors, colleagues, and community leaders to experience Rotary. The passion for service, leadership, and community impact continues to grow as clubs across the district create meaningful change and build lasting connections. Every new member brings fresh ideas, new energy, and greater opportunities to strengthen our communities and expand the impact of Rotary together.
This month, the Eastside OKC Rotary Club demonstrated the power of service and community impact by helping feed more than 350 individuals in the community. Through compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to Service Above Self, members came together to provide meals and support to neighbors who needed it most.
Food insecurity continues to affect individuals and families across our communities, reminding us that even basic necessities are not always guaranteed for everyone. Efforts like this serve as an important reminder that local service projects can create meaningful and immediate impact in the lives of others.
By stepping up to serve, Rotary members helped provide not only meals, but also encouragement, dignity, and hope. Acts of service like these strengthen communities and show what is possible when people come together with a shared purpose of helping others.
Community impact grows when more people choose to get involved. Whether through volunteering, donations, partnerships, or simple acts of kindness, every contribution helps build stronger and more connected communities.
Small acts of generosity, when multiplied across a community, create meaningful and lasting change. Together, we continue to unite for good and live out Service Above Self.
RYLA 2026
The date for our next RYLA is set for July 17-20, 2026 at Camp Twin Cedars. We need your support to sponsor students and encourage students to apply. Our goal is to have 100 students for this LIFE CHANGING Camp.
Reach out to your schools and students in your area. The QR Code on the attached flyer lands on the application page. Additional information can be found on the District Website. rotary5750.org. Encourage the high school Sophomores and Juniors to apply as soon as possible!
Since we have the entire camp AND the kitchen we would love some kitchen help. It would be great if a few Rotarians and or clubs would volunteer to help preparing meals and cleaning up. Let Nicole know you would like to help. nmhs40@gmail.com
