Introducing... The Rotary News Network (RNN)! Check out this month's news in the video above and get more details about RNN, including instructions on how to show this at your club meetings, below.

Our goal is for all of our clubs to show this news video 1 time per month during the club meeting of your choice. Our Rotary News Network video will be approx. 5-9 minutes in length and be produced monthly. At that length, it will be able to fit into even the most tightly planned meeting schedules. Larger clubs can show this on a widescreen TV format; smaller clubs may want to just have members gather around a laptop and view this. How you do it is up to you. If you download the video before your meeting to a USB or something similar, you won't need internet access to play it.

The newsroom format will include a monthly District Governor message, video and some still photos from activities and events at each club that you submit just like you do now for the current newsletter, and an update on District - Global Grants, District Simplified Grants, RYLA, Rotaract, etc.

The basic RNN format will include 3 segments. Segment 1 will be the DG message for the month and may be in interview or news anchor presentation format; segment 3 will be a sit-down interview format with one or more District leaders on a specific topic; segment 2 will be the longest of the 3 segments and will include video and photos sent to us by our clubs documenting and highlighting events, fundraisers, etc., both during the past month and introducing a future happening.

By showing our Rotary News Network (RNN) videos monthly at your club meetings you will assure that clubs members, and prospective members, are aware of Rotaryhappenings both at, and beyond, the club level.

This will bring a more in-depth knowledge of info, ideas, and enthusiasm to our clubs. And, it will show any visitors who might be interested in joining your club, more than you could ever explain to them during their club visit.

As time goes on, based on your feedback and the material you send to us, we will tweak and enhance our RNN monthly videos.
