The Bricktown Rotary had over 20 volunteers to help out at the Oklahoma City Art's Festival this year on April 21, 2023. There was a little rain but that did not stop us from showing up and slinging some drinks at the Mega tent to help out and support the ARTS!! We love the Arts and love to give a helping hand. Thanks to all who participated to give back to our community!!!
The Bricktown Rotary had a fantastic Fundraising event that superseded last year's proceeds!! The Bricktown Rotarians met at Dunlap Codding on April 21, 2023 and had great food, super music, and silent and live auctions.
We had an amazing turnout and much fun was had by all! We have already started spending the proceeds to do good. The TEEM Hygiene bags were the first to benefit from our efforts...and so much goodwill is to come.
On May 1, 2023 the Bricktown Rotarians pulled together to create Hygiene bags for the prisoners being released and under the strong arm of TEEM, The Employment and Education Ministry for prisoners. TEEM helps prisoners released from prison get back on their feet and back into society. The Bricktown Rotarians help put together hygiene bags stuffed with toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, razors, shaving cream, socks, snacks Braum's gift cards you name it. This bag of goodies helps them have a fresh start on the path to goodness.
