The Bricktown Rotary hand wrote over 18 Valentine Cards and delivered 4 Boxes of gently used books for Northwind's Assisted Living Center which assists HIV positive persons at the end of February 2021.
The Bricktown Rotary received book donations and made Valentine Cards for the Northwinds patients at 1492 in Casady Square as a social gathering. We had so much fun writing thoughtful Valentine's sentiments and taping candy to the outside of the cards. Then we rallied and collected our books to take them over to the Northwinds Living center.
It is really important during the Covid times where the residents are not allowed to leave the premises that they know they are loved and not forgotten.
They were very thankful for the sentiments and loved the books!
