The Chamber’s new President and CEO, Alane Zannotti, shared breakfast with Centennial Rotarians. Background? She grew up in Stillwater, returned to establish Zannotti’s Wine Bar downtown, sold it, worked at Meridian Technology Center, served on the Stillwater City Council, was Vice-Mayor, and now heads the Chamber of Commerce, a plethora of experience. Stillwater is her town. Rotarians asked about growth. Zannotti explained a new census will show the city is past 50,000. Achieving 50,000 opens up additional federal funding opportunities. Stillwater is in the enviable position of having the Chamber, OSU and the City all on the same page, not working as independent silos. She wants to develop ways to assist existing businesses in promotion and growth strategies, Shown are Rotarian host William Cole and Alane Zannotti.

Graham Condley and Audrey Dillin were selected by their teachers as Stillwater Junior High Students of the Month. They and their parents were breakfast guests of the Stillwater Centennial Rotarians. Audrey told Rotarians she is active in the Speech and Drama and Beta clubs. Favorite class? AP English. But her passion is dance. She is part of Showstoppers. She is realistic, thinking of OSU for psychology or business. But she would study dance in college for a dance career. Graham told Rotarians “First, I am a Christian.” Favorite class?  American Government. Passion? Soccer. He would like to get a Division I soccer scholarship from Wake Forest or another east coast school where the sport is played at a high level, then go on to professional soccer. As they spoke Rotarians were impressed with our Junior High students’ confidence and maturity. Shown, Rotarian Cathy Albright, Graham Condley and Audrey Dillin.
