As we prepare for the upcoming Rotary year, DGE Jeanean Yanish Jones, invited all Presidents-Elect to Springdale, Arkansas for our annual President Elect Training. A few years ago, our district joined three other Rotary districts to provide a top-notch leadership conference at the Mid-America President-Elect Training Seminar. Not only do the Presidents-Elect get to network within our own district, but they participate in idea exchanges with incoming club presidents from clubs their size from nearby states. Big-name Rotary speakers inspire and engage hundreds of district and club Rotarians with tried and true programs like increasing membership through Rotary Membership Leads by connecting prospective members to our Rotary clubs. The highlight for the past few years is getting to hear from the Rotary International President-Elect (RIPE). This year, RIPE R. Gordon R. McInally spoke about this upcoming year's Rotary theme, Create Hope in the World and his focus on mental health and wellness.

DGE Jeanean Yanish Jones wants to thank the Rotary Presidents-Elect and club leaders who made time and effort to attend this year's MAPETS: Cathy Albright, Kurt Andrews, Chris Berry, Joanna Blackstock, Brittany Byers, William cole, Clay David, Emily Duncan Belasko, Robert Frakes, Forrest "Butch" Freeman, Shane Harland, Jeremy Hise, Shawn Houk, Nicole Huneke, Jere Jones, Darrell Mendiola, Frank O'Leary, Peter Pembroke, Kassandra, Segura, Natalie Simpson, and T.L.
