Saturday, our Junior Rotarians came to the rescue. They met at Mukesh Patel's Dry Cleaning Business to paint and reassemble the club accessibility scooter before shipping it overseas. Thank you Mukesh, for keeping the scooter in storage and thank you Jr. Rotarians for completing our club project.

Many MWC Rotary volunteers and Jr. Rotarians participated Sunday at the OKC Memorial Marathon. Mr. Osenga organized another team of volunteers this year to man the relay station and other areas of the marathon. Thanks Ben Osenga! Also many thanks Sally Newey and Robert Winters for sharing the great photos.

This past Saturday, on May 13th, two representatives from our club met at the Reno Avenue Post Office in Midwest City to volunteer for the Regional Food Bank. Other Rotary Club volunteers met throughout the OKC Metro area at listed post offices to volunteer. It was a great way to help the community and good representation for Rotary. The food drive impacts many local families using generous community donations and a postal system that is already in place. Everything was organized for the volunteers and you only had to sort and fill the tubs to be loaded onto the semi-truck trailer.

On June 5th, Rotary Club of Midwest City was proud to welcome six new members into the club.
