On Tuesday, November 29th, a group of Rotarians from the Del City Club invited club members from Rotary Club of Midwest City to hear former Attorney General Michael Turpen speak. He spoke about finding your compass in life or locating your North Star.  Michael also talked about tolerance and the importance of listening respectfully to others' ideas, beliefs, and opinions, especially those we view as different than our own.  He said we must, in a multi-ethnic and multicultural society, focus on what is good because friendships across the aisles are holding us together.

James McQuillar (Chili) organized another Salvation Army Bell Ringers Day at Sam's Club on the 29th in Midwest City.  Many Midwest City Rotarians, Jr Rotarians from Carl Albert High School, and Interact Club members from Midwest City High School participated.  The Sam's Club parking lot was packed with customers all day and into the evening.  Many donations were accompanied with " Merry Christmas" and other words of kindness. Thank you to all of the volunteers that were able to give an hour or more of their time to collect donations for an important non-profit.
