On Monday, January 23rd, 2023, Ken and Sally Newey took the Carl Albert Student Rotarians and the Midwest City High School Interact students to tour the Midwest City Police Department and Crime Lab. The tour guide was Detective Matt Clawson. He toured the students throughout, introduced staff, took them to the meeting room where officers are debriefed throughout the day, and introduced them to council chambers where Meghan Raddatz from UCO shared a host of career opportunities provided by the Nationally Recognized Forensics program at UCO. Enlightening students about potential career paths and meeting local civil servants helps our students see how they may be able to create a similar pathway in their own life.
