May Teacher of the Month

Jennifer Sinclair, a 23 year teacher at Nichols Hills Elementary,  currently teaches Kindergarten.  Jennifer uses a child-centered approach to classroom teaching where focusing on a cooperative rather than competitive environment builds self-esteem and confidence in students and believes it is important that students are given a variety of challenges every day because these opportunities help kids develop critical thinking skills.  She was named a Great Ideas Grant Grant recipient, Nichols Hills Teacher of the Year and has been named a past OKCPS Teacher of the of the Year Semi-Finalist.  She is trained in Great expectations and Core Knowledge and Nationally board-certified.
