Leslie Davis is a first grade teacher at Cleveland Elementary, where she has taught for 6 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University. Leslie believes that every student should be given a chance to explore, and "teaching a child how to be kind can make a difference for their future community involvement."She is involved in her local church has spent many volunteer hours working in the children's department, and on the women's ministry council. Leslie believes it is important to foster each child's strengths and unique learning abilities and each student should be met where they are academically. Her greatest contribution to education has been her ability to go above and beyond to do what is needed for her kids to be successful. Congratulations, Leslie!!!
