In cooperation with the Mayor's office and City Council, the Rotary Club of Okla. City recognizes an outstanding teacher in our community. On February 14th, the club had the honor of celebrating Amy Andrews.

Amy is a physical education teacher and coach at Oakdale School. She has been an educator for eleven years, nine of those with Oakdale. During her time at Oakdale, she created an adaptive PE program for special needs students that incorporates regular education students. She has also coached volleyball and junior varsity girls basketball at the middle school level for Oakdale.

Amy has dedicated her career to educating, encouraging, and inspiring children to enjoy being active. Her passion was recognized in 2016 when she was named the Adaptive PE Teacher of the Year for the State of Oklahoma.
Congratulations, Amy!
