We’ve had a great start to the new Rotary year. We already have one new member and one returning member. We presented a new Paul Harris Fellow award as well as presenting a Paul Harris +3 to one of our Paul Harris Society members.
Our community service committee seems to be working overtime, and we have six projects in the queue. Dictionaries for third graders is one of our long-standing projects and we’re in the process of gathering information for that now. Be watching in the coming months for details about some of our new projects.
One of the highlights so far this year was welcoming nine year old Elijah Mendiola to our group as a future Rotarian. (see article) Just seeing his excitement energizes us.
