The Ponca City Trailblazers Rotary Club kicked off the Rotary year with a flurry of activity. In July, members took part in a lake cleanup after the 4th of July celebrations, helping to keep the community beautiful.
On August 3rd, the club hosted the Lemonade Stand Project for the first time, a tradition handed over by Ponca City Main Street. The event, which coincided with Crazy Days, encouraged young entrepreneurs to set up lemonade stands downtown. With 12 stands registered, the kids were all smiles as they worked hard, many pledging their earnings to charity or to fund their sports activities. The Trailblazers enjoyed supporting the kids and are eager to do it again next year.
