South Oklahoma City's November & December Service Project was collecting Socks for Seniors. We collected a total of 104 pairs of socks for seniors!
President Elect Eddy Hrdicka recently dropped off school supplies for the OKCPS Student Services - ESL Department.
Speaker Mayor David Holt will be guest speaker February 25, come join us, rsvp by email sokcrotary.secretary@outlook.comLast, we have an ongoing service project until we raise $5,000 to sponsor a refuge family in partnership with Catholic Charities of Oklahoma in the sponsorship – (the average cost to sponsor a family is $5000). We’re looking for a few more co-sponsors, other clubs in our district to match the $1000.00. The largest donation we've received is $400, looking for individual donors to match that amount. Other items that our club has secured is clothing for all ages, schools supplies, even a house for a family of five.
