For over 2 decades, Stillwater Rotary Club has sponsored a service program for children during the Christmas Holidays. This year, Rotarians purchased and packed 1,800 meals for school children attending Glencoe, Yale, and Ripley Public Schools. Funding for the project was provided by members of the club, and grants from The Central Community Foundation, part of Central Electric and a grant from Rotary District 5750. Meals were distributed by student organizations at the various schools before the holiday break. The meals help provide food to school children during the holiday break, a time when schools are not able to provide food assistance.
