The Bricktown Rotary Partnered up with, The Salvation Army, News KFORE and Rococo's to get Box Fans to the Community for people in need.
It was a hot day but a successful one. The Bricktown Rotary was hosted by Rococo's on Western Ave, as our meeting spot, the Salvation Army brought the Big Truck and lots of volunteers. By participating in the Fan Drive the Bricktown Rotarian's were able to collect 92 fans and $587 in donations to the Salvation Army for more fans! How exciting!!
With the cost of fans going up and the heat going up many Oklahoman's were happy to receive the fans to keep cool this summer. Thanks to all of the Rotarians and Salvation Army's volunteers that made this a success.
