The Bricktown Rotary was proud to sponsor 4 RYLA Youth Camp attendees of the 49 that attended. Our one and only Jeff Gabelsberg a Co-Chair helped with this super event. Coming out of Covid the event was held part Zoom and in person. It was held October 10, 11, and 12 - Online Evening Sessions and October 14, 15, and 16 - Camp WOW.Each student received a secure login with access to our unique website (all Zoom links and activities are built into the site) and a retreat crate (with all of their supplies for eRYLA activities).
The kids were WOWed and had a wonderful experience. There was a chili cook off to feed the youths 13 entries...and yes, the Bricktown Rotary "The Eh-Teem" took first place. The cooks were Marc Brockhaus, Paul Brockhaus, Tom and Karyn Seabrooke. Many Rotary clubs participated in the event that was fun to make the chili, and the youths enjoyed the spoils. A win, win for everyone! We look forward to next year.
