The Midwest City Rotary Club is back on track delivering our Dictionary Project after a couple years away due to COVID.  During the week of 4/11/22, our club delivered over 740 dictionaries to 3rd grade students in multiple elementary schools throughout the Mid-Del Public Schools.  We had approximately 30 Rotarians help prepare the dictionaries and present them to these students.

The presentations included information about Rotary Service Above Self including the 4 Way Test. These were presented in an individual one-on-one format, including a great handshake and the required Thank You.  The kids were incredibly happy to receive an actual book and excitedly used them for a few exercises including the search for ‘supercalifragilistic expialidocious’.  This continues to be a rewarding event for both the students and the Rotarians.
