From our fun nights to regular meetings and service projects OKC Midtown Rotary has been growing and representing Rotary all over the Oklahoma City area. In just the month of April both current and prospective members contributed 29.5 hours of service across 4 organizations including: Downtown OKC Partnership (Midtown Walkabout), ArtSpace at Untitled (Steamroller Festival), Allied Arts (Artini), and Festival of the Arts. In addition to service hours we had the opportunity to raise through our Brag and Boohoo bucket $1,155 to support Aspiring Attitudes's new dance floor.
May has been full of great community and service. OKC Midtown Rotary spent our service time this month helping with the Paseo Arts Festival, an annual celebration of arts in culture in Oklahoma City. Our meetings have been full of visitors and a few special guests including Andalécio Silvério, a visiting Rotarian, and his family all the way from Brazil! We also were proud to have a visit from Emma (Our Wings of Rotary student) and her family. We are so thankful for all the growth and new members in our club and can't wait to see what June has in store.
