It is youth service month in Rotary and whether it's Rotaract, Interact, RYLA, Youth Exchange, all play an essential part in developing youth and imparting critical leadership skills. While this past year has required that we cancel youth exchange and programs like wings of Rotary, we have also done some great things virtually as is demonstrated by our eRYLA, which is being planned again this year thanks to many talented people in our district. As we continue to return to being able to have in-person events, I continue to encourage all of the clubs to consider how we can take the advantages of what we have learned about meeting in new ways and utilize that to make us even stronger as we move forward.
I want to remind all that our virtual District Conference will take place on Thursday, June 17th, from 6 pm to 7 pm. A link to register is shown below. We will be showcasing highlights from each of the clubs and need your assistance as club presidents with sending information that you want to feature on your club. We can be proud of so many things that we have been able to accomplish as Rotarians over the past year, and I look forward to celebrating those moments with you.
Thanks,
Angela Rickman
