Greetings Rotarians,
What a busy month July has been for your Rotary District Governor line and our Treasurer and Administrator. On July 8th, our leadership team met and planned this year's district budget. Committee chairs should be on the lookout for an email explaining their allocation.
On July 22nd another planning meeting was held to plan the District Assembly for District Officers & Committee Chairs, Assistant District Governors, and Club Officer Training. This will be held on August 27th from 10 am to 2 pm with lunch provided by the District. Registration is now open so sign up HERE!
I have enjoyed my visits to three clubs and have four more scheduled in August and September. Please contact me at to set up my visit to your club!

Yukon - Shoes for Kids
The Yukon Rotary Club had several members who worked on the “shoe project “ which transported and helped distribute new boxed shoes for children in our school district who need them. We helped serve about 150 children.  Pictured L-R are Becky Durham, Lynn Cook, Angelique Morton, Trent Scrivner, and President Bill Martin. Not pictures is Bill Baker, who also worked in this service project.
Midwest City - Legacy Celebration
The Midwest City Rotary Club celebrated the service of its longest-tenured members in their Legacy Celebration event on May 16, 2022.  The celebration focused on those members that had been in the club for at least 30 years.  This specific club was founded in Midwest City on October 28, 1954 and several of the members have been a part of the club almost since its inception and most with perfect attendance for their entire membership.
Midwest City Rotary Club President, Austin Fisher stated...
Edmond Summit - Happy Trails, Bob!
Edmond Summit Rotary bid farewell to a charter member and a great Rotarian, Bob Donaldson, outgoing club president. Bob is moving to his new retirement home in Texas and membership -- of course -- with the Orange, Texas Rotary Club. We'll miss you, Bob!
Ponca City - Service Mobs!
Ponca City Rotary participated in the Chamber of Commerce’s Be Kind Campaign by adopting Pioneer Park and picking up litter on July 23rd.

South OKC - River Sport Litter Blitz
South Oklahoma City Rotarians recently spent a morning picking up trash with River Sports River Protectors. Anyone who has biked or ran on the river trails has seen the insane amount of trash that line the river. We spent 2 hours picking up trash and were dismayed with the volume of trash left by visitors!

Few get to cross the Equator in a warship! Allie did just that in 1962 Maiden Voyage of USS Kitty Hawk Nuclear Air Craft Carrier!! WOW! How cool!!
