We have arrived! The District Conference is here and who isn’t ready to see some familiar faces and celebrate Rotary?!! FYI - I’m not ready to sign off just yet, but I am excited to take this time to bring our clubs together and hear about how we have served our community during one of the most difficult times in history. This is a call to action, that anyone with a story about their club in their community making a difference during the last two years, please send that in to megnut80@gmail.com ASAP! We will want to highlight YOU during the celebration!
Get registered today at the link below and I’ll see you May 14th!
Rotary’s Council on Legislation (“COL”) was conducted March 13 – 17, 2022 in Evanston, Illinois at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel. In years past, the event was conducted at Rotary International Headquarters. However, that building is still closed to visitors, due to the pandemic. Marty Postic had the privilege of being the District 5750 Representative to this year’s COL and has a full recap of events and changes to come.
Our incoming team of District Governors, Jack Werner (2024-25), Deena Fisher (2022-23), and Jeanean Yanish Jones (2023-24) gathered to make preparations for the coming Rotary. If you would like to get involved and serve our District, please reach out to District Governor Elect Deena at deena.fisher@gmail.com.

Through District grant funding, OKC Midtown Rotary recently presented Belle Isle Enterprise Middle School with a new stage set for their drama department and new string instruments for their orchestra. The students from each program performed for club members and OKC Public Schools Foundation staff in attendance.
The OKC Sunrise Rotary Club has always tried to celebrate the Last Thursday of the Month (“LThoTM”) with a social event. Sometimes, it is just to meet for a drink and some food or to visit a new social venue. At the end of March, we celebrated that social event “with a purpose.”
The Midwest City Rotary Club is back on track delivering our Dictionary Project after a couple years away due to COVID. During the week of 4/11/22, our club delivered over 740 dictionaries to 3rd grade students in multiple elementary schools throughout the Mid-Del Public Schools. We had approximately 30 Rotarians help prepare the dictionaries and present them to these students.
